I employ several traditional techniques in printmaking, but mostly intaglio etchings. I create my etching on zinc plates, hand-ink and print them with a hand-cranked etching press. These prints are not printed using a computer. The time it takes to print each print is determined by how elaborate the image is, the mixing of colors, and the techniques. Making a plate can take as long as 100 hours or as little as six hours to complete. One of my prints, "Oh Wire, Oh Wire Can She Be" took 1,000 hours to produce!
When you click on the thumbnail images, the print will come up full page and show the title, the technique, the number in the edition, the year of production, and the price.
Thank you for your interest in my work!
