“Escort Duty Over Walden's Pond”– This etching depicts a "bomber" butterfly being escorted over a pond with "fighter" butterfly escorts at each wingtip. It has been printed in varying combinations of colors producing varying effects. The plate took about twenty-five hours to produce. It is usually printed in Mars violet.
