This print was a challenge to do. It was worth it in that it has sold
more than many of my pieces. This is a play for power on the chess board
of life. The white horse actually has teeth marks in its neck. This is
an intaglio etching done with line and aquatint. What makes it unique
is the sky. The sky is done by a method called sugar lift. It takes about
one hour to print this print. It is printed on Rives BFK printmaking paper.
It is usually printed in black for the effect.
