This is a collograph done with carborundum (metal shavings). Its subject
matter is that of an eruption on the surface of a solar body with an additional
sun or moon (if you prefer) in the background during an eclipse. I got
this idea from a dream. It takes several hours to wipe, print and hand
color this piece. It is printed on Rives BFK printmaking paper.
